TEC 45 COURSES

The Tec 45 course begins from where the course Tec is over 40 and increases the Underwater Technical training as a step further and of course even more deeply. This is the second sub-course of Tec Diver course.

Learning:

Skills and equipment and planning need to dive to a maximum depth of 45 meters
The knowledge to plan and execute single and repetitive decompression dives using a stage cylinder containing EANx or oxygen to accelerate or increase the safety margins during decompression stops.
No time limitation with respect to the total amount of decompression
Prepare underwater and able to respond to predictable emergencies of technical diving
Master the techniques and basic procedures that you need moving at greater depths during technical dives
Equipment:

During the Tec 45 course you will learn to use new equipment for Technical Diving and so you will have knowledge of their functions and able to use them:

double tanks
Double First independent stages
Cylinder phase / decompression with dedicated dispenser
Double attitude control system (double bladder BCD or dry suit)
double computer
Double reporting system
double knife
Teaching materials:

In Crew Pack which surely you already have in hand after the first part Tec 40’ll find:

• The technical diving terminology
• emergency procedures
• use of the stage cylinder and a decompression tank
• planned gases

Inside the Crew Pack you will find a manual, a checklist for planning the dive and a slate for the planning of Technical Diving. The video for the equipment and the key of the exercises is optional but always recommended. Excellent tool that will help you to practice at home during the intervals between technical diving adventure to the next. It will continue to use the Tec Deep Diver Crew-Pack for the Tec 50.

Prerequisites:

Be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from a recognized training organization)
Be a PADI Rescue Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from a recognized training organization)
Be a PADI Enriched Air Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from a recognized training organization)
Be a PADI Deep Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from a recognized training organization)
Be a PADI Tec 40 (or hold a qualifying certification from a recognized training organization)
Have 50 logged dives, of which at least:
– 12 dives must have been made and nitrox deeper than 18 meters
– 6 (with or without EANx) dives to greater depth of 30 meters
Be 18 years
Hold a medical certificate signed by a doctor
